Other information.

He then goes on to link to the hacks and gives some name? ricknzl ??

I made a post on the battlefield for PC with his name and link to my blog but they locked it and renamed it because they have a no shaming policy come to find out.

When I posted a hacker like this on the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 forums they didnt do anything to the thread and the guy was banned in about 4 days after i reported him.

I then opened created another post not naming him but wanted a way to let people see how long it takes to get someone banned.

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955064802916827162/

  • Day 3 and he is still not banned. Level 13 and kdr up to 16.87 now.
  • Day 5 and doesnt seem to be banned but stats seem to be same as day 3 so he must not be playing this account.
Update 2/8/2016: His stats havent moved since day 5 so it seems on Day 5 he got banned may be.

Got this off the forum post from a guy. Thought it interesting on a way to report hackers.

If you have good footage of someone hacking take it to fairfight as they do listen and deal with reported hackers.. Post it on reddit and call in #fairfightdark. (not sure if there is any other way to report direct to them)

Some one picked up my vid and posted it to reddit which resulted in a ban 10 mins after #fairfight dark was called in to have a look at it. Player was also reported to EA via Battlelog by me and many others but i dont think it was even looked into as player did not get a stat reset. (and still has not 1 year on).

Ea seem to ignore reports and just leave it to punkbuster and fairfight.

GG Fairfight,

822-15 on locker was legit by EA standards.

CPU Parking UnParking example. I use this to Park/Unpark when I to use all cores.

I noticed sometimes if I had it at 100% it would use 100% of my cpu during bf4 and lag me out. So i backed it off to 75% and it fixed my issue. You may have to play with the settings some to get it right but I think having as many cores used for your game is a good thing.
I also read that some games may not like it so you just have to do trial and error. If you see no difference than leave it not parked since it wont hurt and may help during those heavy fire battles.

Update 1/28/2016

Looks like 80% parked uses just 3 of the cores which leaves one core for OS mainly or if Bf4 (or games) need that extra core it will use it?

By definition this should only effect power consumption. For example if an application is not using the 4th core it would idle down or sleep. So the fourth core was just idling taking up cpu cycles instead of sleeping? So Bf4 was using just 3 cores and now the extra power from the 4th core is being used on the 3 cores to boost Bf4?

Definition from search:
Core Parking is a sleep state (C6) supported by most newer x86 processors, and newer editions of Windows. Core Parking dynamically disables CPU cores in an effort to conserve power when idle. Disabled cores are re-enabled as the CPU load increases once again.

Elgato Hd60 Pro on 2nd PC vs OBS on 1 pc

Took me awhile but I got it to work. Now just to start tweaking it and getting a better 2nd streaming box.

Got the sound working with the Elgato HD 60 pro in a 2 pc setup. I had to install the Nvidia HD Audio drivers. Seems like the Microsoft HD Audio drivers couldnt cut it. Thanks to this post on REDIT

I got the elgato hd60 pro capture card for a 2 pc setup. I have an ausus 144hz monitor. This worked for me so I thought I would capture this from redit for future referal:

Using higher refresh monitors for PC gaming and streaming is becoming ever more popular, yet most capture cards do support native inputs of 120Hz or 144Hz. This guide is mainly for streaming when using a dual PC setup and a high refresh rate monitor.
Fret not, there is a solution.
This guide assumes you:
  • Are using a Nvidia GPU
  • Have DisplayPort Cable
  • Have a HDMI cable
  • Have a 144Hz monitor
  • Use a Elgato HD60 Pro (or HD60)
Hardware setup:

Nvidia GPU ->DisplayPort to monitor
HDMI to HD60 Pro
Software setup

  1. Right click somewhere on your desktop
  2. Click on Nvidia Control Panel
  3. This will open the Nvidia Control Panel.
  4. On the left sidebar, click on Set up multiple displays
  5. In the select displays you want to use box, you should see your main monitor, and one called Elgato.
  6. In the second box below, right click on the primary display, marked with a big 1.
  7. Hover over clone with, and select display 2.
  8. Now click apply at the bottom. Your screen may go black and flash, and a box will come up asking to keep the changes. Choose yes.
  9. Now, on the right hand sidebar, click on Adjust desktop size and position.
  10. Click on the main monitor at the top, and under scaling, choose no scaling, and set the scaling to GPU.
  11. At the bottom, make sure the resolution is set to 1080p, and the refresh rate is set to 144Hz/120Hz
  12. Now click on the Elgato monitor, and set it to No scaling, perform scaling on GPU.
  13. Below, set the resolution to 1080p and the refresh rate to 60Hz.
  14. On the right sidebar, click on Change resolution.
  15. Click on your main monitor at the top.
  16. In the resolution scroll box, scroll down and under PC, select 1080p.
  17. You will also see a refresh rate box. Click on it, and select the appropriate refresh rate for your monitor(Either 144Hz or 120Hz).
  18. At the top, click on the Elgato monitor. The resolution and refresh rate options should be grayed out.
  19. Now click on Apply. Your screen may flash. Make sure to choose yes to Apply these settings.
  20. Close the Nvidia control panel, and open the Game Capture HD software.
  21. After a few moments, you should see your monitor, in the Game Capture preview.
You’re done. You can now play at 144Hz/120Hz and stream (or even record) at 60fps with your Game Capture HD60 Pro and HD60.
This same setup works with G-sync as well.
